Our Mission is to assist our clients in PREPARING for events that can cause financial hardships through a careful review of their risk, to avoid losses by giving them information to PREVENTor reduce the likelihood of a loss and to PROTECT their families and assets by providing sound insurance products.

Walker Insurance Agency, Inc. is a privately held family owned business that was founded in 1996 by L. Nyal Walker. Nyal has been a Commercial Insurance specialist since 1980 and promises to provide you with excellent service and products whether you are insuring your personal assets or your business. We are proud to be recognized as a Farmers Commercial Premier Agency. This distinction is reserved for just a handful of agents that demonstrate excellence and superior skills in serving businesses. Our principal is also a certified Insurance Counselor and a member of PIA (Professional Insurance Agents).

	L. Nyal Walker – Agent/ Principal
Nyal started in the insurance industry in 1980. The first 18 years of his career he worked as a commercial agent for a national insurance company. Wanting to provide that same professional service to personal accounts he started Walker Insurance Agency and Sound Insurance Group. He is licensed in all lines of insurance. Nyal enjoys spending his time with his family. He has three daughters, two sons and ten wonderful grandchildren. As a little boy and even as an adult he has always loved playing with his toys in the dirt. Whether it’s digging holes with his tractor, jumping hills with his quad, or camping on the ground with the Boy Scouts, he seems the happiest when he’s a little dirty.
	Matt Glunt – Agent/ Commercial CSR
Matt has been working in the Insurance Industry since 2003. He has an extensive knowledge of Commercial and Personal Insurance Products. Matt is licensed in all lines of Insurance. . He originally started working in the home building industry and now is particularly knowledgeable in the needs of contractors. As a father of four children, he understands the need to plan for a family’s changing needs. In his personal life, Matt is busy with his family. He loves reading and playing games with his children. Matt is also actively engaged in community service and serves as a Cub Master for his son’s Cub Pack.
Vision Statement To provide well designed insurance products to meet our Customer’s needs by representing strong Insurance Companies with good products and by providing thorough risk management counseling. To provide a positive work environment, a stable income and an opportunity for career growth for our employees and agents. To create a financially strong independent business which will provide meaningful profits to the stockholders and flexibility of work schedules for the Principles. To represent the Insurance Companies and clients well through strong work ethics, professionalism and integrity in all of our dealings.
